We’re a little off the beaten track but you can find us perched on the old Brecon to Swansea drover’s road on a hill above the village of Penderyn opposite St. Cynog’s Church about 45 minutes north west of Cardff and 40 minutes north east of Swansea. The postcode for Sat Navs is CF44 9JR. Most Sat Navs will bring you up Church Road turning left off the A4059. This route is fine but the lane can be quite narrow. Access via Lamb Road (turning left onto Church Road at the top) is a little wider and shorter.

Online booking is not available for groups of 7 or more please call 01685 811914 to make a reservation.

In particular we draw your attention to the following:

A valid credit or debit card will be required to secure all reservations
Your table shall remain reserved for 15 minutes past your booking time before being classed as a no-show and re-allocated to another customer.
In the instance of a no-show, cancellation or drop in numbers made less than 24 hours in advance the card you provided to us when making your reservation may be charged a non-refundable cancellation fee of £10.00 per person.

Children over the age of 6 are very welcome with an accompanying adult with those under the age of 6 very welcome until 6pm. As the pub is quite small for their safety, we ask that they remain supervised and seated at all times.

Are Dogs Welcome?

Dogs are not allowed in the restaurant but sociable furry friends are very welcome in the bar and lounge areas…..…they can even bring well behaved owners as long as they can vouch for them!
